Volunteers will help to set up the meal packing stations for the event, including unloading food items from the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle truck pack.  Volunteers must be able to lift up to 15 pounds in order to participate in this opportunity.

The meal packing stations will be used during the event to create weekend meal kits for children at Fayetteville Elementary School, Parkwood Elementary, and East Durham Children's Initiative.  Meal bags contain enough food for seven meals.  Additionally, each completed kit will contain a new book to help build children's home libraries and combat summer slide.

NOTE:  Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes.
