Martin Luther King Jr. Season of Service
January 19 - February 28, 2015

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Season of Service is a way to transform Dr. King’s life and teachings into community service that helps empower and strengthen local communities.  Beginning on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and closing at the end of February, the MLK Season of Service brings together volunteers from across the Triangle area to make a difference in our communities.

On January 19, 2015, United Way of the Greater Triangle will host over 2,000 volunteers among 30 projects located throughout the Triangle, including four signature projects, at the 10th annual Triangle Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.  Click here to view projects and join us as we strive to make the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, “A Day On, Not a Day Off".

Join us for the 40 Days of Peace, January 20 through February 28, 2015, to continue strengthening our communities.  During this time, non-profits from around the Triangle will partner with United Way to host additional volunteer projects.  Click here to view a full list of project opportunities.
